Oxytocin Receptor (OXTR) Cell Line

Description Oxytocin Receptor (OXTR) Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing Oxytocin Receptor with no tag. The cells proliferate in vitro and maintain OXTR expression following the cell culture manual. Oxytocin Receptor (OXTR) Cell Line allows to: assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate oxytocin receptor. When a ligand binds to the OXTR, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. Oxytocin Receptor (OXTR) Cell Line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with oxytocin. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring OT receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
