Volume: 100 µg Purification: Immunogen affinity purified Form: liquid Purity: 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE Host: Rabbit Clonality: polyclonal Clone ID: Isotype: IgG Storage: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3,-20? for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.) Background: Component of the COP9 signalosome complex(CSN), a complex involved in various cellular and developmental processes. The CSN complex is an essential regulator of the ubiquitin(Ubl) conjugation pathway by mediating the deneddylation of the cullin subunits of SCF-type E3 ligase complexes, leading to decrease the Ubl ligase activity of SCF-type complexes such as SCF, CSA or DDB2. The complex is also involved in phosphorylation of p53/TP53, c-jun/JUN, IkappaBalpha/NFKBIA, ITPK1 and IRF8/ICSBP, possibly via its association with CK2 and PKD kinases. CSN-dependent phosphorylation of TP53 and JUN promotes and protects degradation by the Ubl system, respectively. Immunogen: COP9 constitutive photomorphogenic homolog subunit 8(Arabidopsis) Synonyms: COP9, COP9 homolog, COPS8, CSN8, hCOP9, SGN8, Signalosome subunit 8 Observed MW: 23 kDa Uniprot ID: Q99627 Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat Tested Application: ELISA, WB, IHC Recommended dilution: WB: 1: 200-1: 2000; IHC: 1: 20-1: 200 Gene ID: 10920 Research Area: stem cells, immunology, Developmental biology, Signal Transduction, Cell Division and Proliferation
