Volume: 100 µg Purification: Immunogen affinity purified Form: liquid Purity: 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE Host: Rabbit Clonality: polyclonal Clone ID: Isotype: IgG Storage: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3 , -20? for 12 months (Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.) Background: 2, 3-diphosphoglycerate (2, 3-DPG) is a small molecule found at high concentrations in red blood cells where it binds to and decreases the oxygen affinity of hemoglobin. This gene encodes a multifunctional enzyme that catalyzes 2, 3-DPG synthesis via its synthetase activity, and 2, 3-DPG degradation via its phosphatase activity. The enzyme also has phosphoglycerate phosphomutase activity. Deficiency of this enzyme increases the affinity of cells for oxygen. Mutations in this gene result in hemolytic anemia. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified. Immunogen: 2, 3-bisphosphoglycerate mutase Synonyms: DPGM Observed MW: 30 kDa Uniprot ID: P07738 Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat Tested Application: ELISA, WB, IHC Recommended dilution: WB: 1: 500 - 1: 2000; IHC: 1: 50 - 1: 200 Gene ID: 669 Research Area: Cardiovascular, Metabolism
